Press the MENU button plus DZ to step through the operating modes:
- Altimeter / Logger in GPX format
- Data Mode to show all sensors
- Altimeter / Logger in CSV format
- WiFi mode for data display
Press the ALT button for more than 2s to set altitude to zero. Technically: SeaLevel pressure is set to current pressure.
Pressing the DZ button for more than 2s sets the current position to home/ target position. Only works after getting a GPS fix.
The light sensor automatically enables LCD backlight if necessary. checked once a minute.
lower(blue) LED indicates charging.
upper (green) LED indicated battery fuly charged
Middle (red) LED is Message LED. blinks if GPS fix is valid.
Real power switch. all powered off when in upper position. Recharging the battery also allowed.
This port is only used for recharging and reprogramming the unit.
The doubleTap feature is used to mark certain positions while logging.
doubletap (Tik -- Tik) the right side of the unit using you finger: the display will invert for a second as a feedback. Only works when logging.
This is push/pull µSD card slot for data storage. If something went wrong, you can pull the card and read all files on your PC.
uppler left in display shows the battery status
The figure lower left shows the number of GPS satelites that are received. More satellites means more precision.
Altitude is show in large digits, shown in steps of 5m.
The figure below shows your ground speed, the number below your current distance to home.
The navigation view shows the direction and distance to your DZ. (relative bearing) . The instrument must be hold in Flight direction (blue arrow) to show the way to go home (red).
The GPX marks the type of logging. Will blink if log is recorded.
