Altitude display is based on barometric measurement according to ICAO standard
atmosphere.
Internal precision down to 10cm, displayed in steps of 10 meters for smooth
experience.
(The altitude and distance display can be switched from metric to imperial. Tracks always are metric)
If jumping in an unknown area, BMH shows the relative bearing to your dropzone: when the hollow arrow directs to your flying direction, the black arrow shows the distance and direction to your landing point (DZ). Your Groundspeed is also shown, giving you an estimate of windspeed and your reach.
Tracking can be started by a push of a button or automatically reaching the start altitude. Tracking files are stored in a compact CSV format that contains detailed information about all movement parameters (time, location, altitude, speed, course, acceleration, precison, etc) Tracks are written with 250ms resolution, giving precise information even for fast activities.
Lost something under way? (helmet, shoe, freebag...) Push a button and mark your current position to exactly locate this event later. The position marker will be shown in the dashboard app.
Jumplogger communicates wirelessly: You need to connect jumpLogger with a WiFi network, to use all features. the built-in webserver uploads all jump and tracking data into a cloud based secure database. To view and analyse your flight data, use the AIRLOG web dashboard. Easy on every smartphone, pad or laptop.
Jumplogger is powered by an internal rechargeable LiPo battery, offering continuous use for up to 12hrs with 3hrs recharging time. Use the USB-C port for charging.
All data is presented on a large monochrome graphic LCD. Background lighting is automatically enabled in dim surroundings. Three buttons control the device, easy to press but safe from spurious activation
jumpLogger is feature packed and still work in progress. We add features by software. The device is easily updates via WiFi (Over-the-Air). Future proof.
